Leadership - Communication - Empathy - Building Strong Relationships are just the beginning

Courses

Leadership -
We all have the ability to lead; it’s those who work at developing strong leadership skills and characteristics who are the most successful. As a leader, the way you influence people will determine how they treat you, what they choose to do for you, and how far they will go to help make your life better or worse as an authority figure. My goal is to provide you with a toolbox of strategies and information that you’ll be able to use in order to keep those you are leading motivated, excited, and willing to work as a unit to help you and your organization reach its full potential.

Communication - Less than half of Americans say that they’re engaged at work, which means that there’s a good chance your workers aren’t feeling connected to the work they do either.
Everyone Communicates, Few Connect, is an experience that can help you tap into skills and strategies that will help you understand the way that your words and actions may be interpreted by those you are leading.
The information that we’ll be discussing during this event will allow you to break through any existing barriers you might have with your team and find common ground, so that you can succeed together

Empathy- By the age of two, children begin to display an emotional response that corresponds with another person's emotional state. This is one of the fundamental behaviors of empathy. Additionally, empathy does not exist in humans alone. Instances of empathy have been recorded throughout many species, including but not limited to canines, felines, dolphins, primates, rats, and mice! Empathy has been identified as one of the essential skills needed to succeed both professionally and in personal relationships. Empathy is useful in society, in relationships, business, and communication. My goal is to help everyone define and understand the importance of empathy.

Building Strong Relationships - Research links supportive and rewarding relationships to having better mental health and overall increased well being. In other words, each person we come in contact with is an opportunity to help us grow! Research also links higher rates of depression, decreased immune function, and increased blood pressure to a lack of social connections. Interpersonal relationship skills are necessary for all types of relationships from workplace acquaintances to more intimate relationships. Needless to say, maintaining healthy relationships is important. Our first step is understanding the myths that surround the meaning of healthy relationships. Improving your interpersonal skills is just like improving any other skill, it takes practice! We all already have the necessary skills to build strong relationships, we just need to hone them in and flex that muscle.
